the GNU General Public License.
Kylix
3 Open Edition is the version of Kylix specifically designed
for the open-source development of applications that are
distributed under the GPL. The Kylix Open Edition forbids
deploying any application with a license other than the
GPL. However, the Borland license that ships with the Enterprise
and Professional editions allows a developer to deploy with
any license that is compatible with it. Any open source
license that requires shipment of sources of linked proprietary
libraries is not compatible.
